polyol
esters
: DAMAN ORGANOMERS
markets a complete line of neopolyol esters ranging from a
viscosity (40° C) of 6 to 60 centistokes. These products are
made by reacting short to long chain carboxylic acids with
neopentyl polyols such as neopentyl glycol, trimethylopropane,
and penta-erythritol. As a class, Polyol Esters are the best
in terms of thermal stability being better than dibasic acid
esters of the same viscosity. Although the DIOLUBE line comprises
a rather large range of viscosities, if necessary, Daman Organomers
can and will design molecules that meet your applications
requirements.
APPLICATIONS
DIOLUBE POLYOL ESTERS find
applications as base stocks in wide variety of industrial
applications. Originally developed for the demanding requirements
of jet engines, neopolyol esters have now found extensive
applications in the formulation of automotive crankcase and
transmission oils, compressor oils, refrigeration lubricants,
hydraulic fluids, heat transfer fluids, dielectrics and textile
lubricants, as well as many others.
